Today i was waiting patiently to receive a response for my last sent transmission. I decided to take a one day contract to haul some Helium in Pennsylvania. We were a couple of freighters and had been transporting alot of Helium that day.
Then suddenly a Nomad ship appeared out of THIN AIR!? I was a very sceptical and thought my scanners were malfunctioning...
Well i was wrong...
The Nomad showed no hostile intent for most of the encounter observing our mining process.. the only response we recieved from it was angry pscychic messages we couldnt understand. I called for backup since we were in Liberty space, and a LNS Battleship showed up to handle the situation...
What the Nomad was "telling" us had me puzzled... It sounded almost human in its desire to protect what it felt was "beauty"....
I felt that it was important to notify you of this strange encounter, here is the communications i caught:
"Rage..:Steal...Consume...Pests...Unable...Unknowing...Prevention needed... *** As the human horde advances...consuming.. destroying worlds in thier wake... a lone nomad sets their colonies on fire...***
The LNS Nebraska managed to "convince" the Nomad otherwise and it dissapeared into the clouds... As the officer on Nebraska remarked.."I think we just met an enviromentalist" ...
What this means i dont know... maybe the Nomads are hiding something else than just "beauty" inside the Helium Clouds?
