Old job. Even if she was officialy in love with Jack Snow, she couldn't get rid of her old job. Mercenary, she always liked this job, though it was kinda dangerous for her, but nothing could prevent her from doing so. Gaian Valez Junior, first target for Katherine and her old Eagle. 24 hours later she met Valez deep inside of Ice field in Manchester system not so far from Gaian base. Poor guy had another Freelancer sitting in Gunboat behind his bottom, so Katherine used her chance and tried to assassinate Valez. 5 minutes later, Valez flew into Planet Atmosphere with damaged ship and Katherine could claim this kill. 7,500,000 Sirian Credits.

Of course she couldn't wait for so long, she desperately wanted to show her first reward. Katherine had her always loved cocktail near Newark station, talking to people... One of them was "Sunny" from Archangels and another one was Matilda Antioch in Pelican Armored Transport. Sunny offered her a race, typical Archangels thingy and with surprise she almost won this race from Hattan to Detroit and back. Then she showed Sunny something really impresive deep inside Edge Worlds, Toledo Graveyard. Sunny seemed to be really shocked and Katherine's sadness caught her again. It was kinda pointless to stay there and watch all those wrecks drifting around now destroyed Planet Toledo. In New York, Katherine spotted familiar vessel... "Eagle", no weapons, Cloaking device, silly person. Jackie appeared in New York, he caught her not prepared and her surprise was kinda overhelming her feelings. Jakc however didn't recognize her at first time, because he never seen her ship and his girlfriend hidden under helm... No wonder why. After a while his palm landed on his face, following with a wide smile afterwards when he recognized who's in another Eagle sitting next to him. They both were talking to people around and then flew to Pennsylvania where Jack had to bring a package for his sister. Some silly Freelancer however tried his luck and engaged Jack's weaponless ship. Kat couldn't just sit there and watch a weird guy trying to destroy her boyfriend's ship in fron of her, so she just opened fire and destroyed silly Freelancer who felt like a boss. Both arrived to Bethlehem withour any major problem, however this was a long day full of adventures, falling asleep on Jack's lap few minutes after a meeting with his sister.
