I just thought I would make a comment, since it directly regards myself and the GC as a faction.

We did indeed enter Bretonia with the intent on ratifying a treaty, and contacted the BPA as soon as it was possible to do so (aka, as soon as they were online). While we were waiting for one to appear, I travelled to Arranmore base to pick up several supernova cannons to better equip our bombers in the fight against Kusari. We didn't pirate anyone, and the only NPC transport we destroyed was a Samura transport docking near Stokes (which btw, shouldn't even be in Bretonia anyway and hopefully all Kusari civilian vessels will be removed from Bretonia in the next mod update). While the police might not be happy with the small amount of debris, I imagine they would easily have no issues looking the other way as a Samura vessel is destroyed. They are at war, after all. Enemy shipping are legitimate targets, particularly those of a corporation that for all intents and purposes controls the enemy government.

Not long after we had left Arranmore, two BPA came online and I immediately contacted them with my intentions, whereupon we agreed to meet at the Dublin jumphole in New London. After having talked for a few minutes, I handed over two Kusari fleet admirals as a gesture of goodwill towards Bretonia. The Corsairs entered the system at that particular moment and I detailed my fellow GC to accompany the BPA in repelling the Corsairs while I returned to Hokkaido (being sensible, I didn't want to risk the 9 supernova cannons in my hold), as a further gesture of goodwill, which they then did so.

The GC are rather radical extremists and contrary to their actual ID, they aren't pirates but idealistic terrorists (although we still have to "act" like pirates anyway) devoted to women's rights in Kusari at any cost. They see that Bretonia is ruled by a Queen and is also fighting Kusari. While we would like to see Kusari ruled by a femle Kusari Empress, we would still far prefer to see the Queen of Bretonia in charge of Kusari, instead of the Samura/Hogosha-backed sexist male Shogun. We would certainly be guaranteed decent women's rights under a Bretonian female head of state, if nothing else, which is ultimately what the GC want. Thus it is in our best interests to support Bretonia in any way possible.

Even if Bretonia didn't take over Kusari, it could feasibly weaken it for us and our Blood Dragon allies to take over it, which would of course also end the war in both our and Bretonia's favour.
