Chapter 11: The Liberty Bounty Board and You

This chapter is a review of the current Liberty Bounty board, last updated April 8, 823 A.S.

For some reason, members of LPI have access to the Liberty Bounty Board. This means that you, yes you, can be paid for killing people. Just follow the guidelines below!

Current bounties in Liberty space:

• Gallic Royal Navy (6,000,000)

THE HOUSE OF LIBERTY*

• Unioners (4,000,000)
• The Order (4,000,000)
• Coalition (6,000,000)
• Generic Pirates (4,000,000)
• Smugglers as defined by section 1, part 1 of the law (6,000,000)
• Foreign Warships as defined by section 1, part 1 of the law (8,000,000)

Payment amount is based off affiliation of the target and is indicated in parenthesis next to the target.

Modifiers:

• If the target is a gunboat/gunship: +2,000,000
• If the target is a cruiser/destroyer: +4,000,000
• If the target is a battlecruiser/battleship: +6,000,000
• For official faction ships (GRN|, Order|, LH~, etc): +1,000,000
• Forcing ships to surrender and submit to imprisonment on board the Sugarland facility: +2,000,000
• Forcing smugglers to drop their cargo and finding a Primary Fleet officer to organise a retrieval: +2,000,000
In the event that more than one of these modifiers is fulfilled, the effect is cumulative. For example, if the enemy ship was a Liberty Rogue gunship that was a part of an official faction, the payout would be 4m + 2m + 1m = 7,000,000 SC.

Requirements:

• Must be a Bounty Hunter, Freelancer, or Liberty Police.
• Must be registered.
• Must provide the name of the ship you wish the money transferred to.
• Must provide visual proof of target's ID, ship-type, and destruction/cargo drop (the latter with a timestamp). Also provide proof of location if applicable.
• Must adhere to the ships and weaponry restrictions specified by the Laws of Liberty (section three). Failure to do so will void the bounty collection attempt.
• Bounties cannot be claimed unless the kill message specifying the killer is obtained. In the event that an unspecified kill (Eg, “Target has been killed by an NPC”, “Target has died”) is obtained by an individual or group of mercenaries when outnumbering the Liberty forces, this is not required. Proof of the group of collectors outnumbering the Liberty forces present is mandatory.
• Any attempt to deceive the representative of the Republic of Liberty into paying out excess credits for a claim will be treated as fraud, and consequently your name will be removed from the register of parties capable of claiming bounties on this board. Criminal proceedings may follow.[align]
