Michelle looks the young man once up and down. She nods, the her guards opening the door. They turn to face each other, allowing the MacDuff guards to leave, then Takeshi, then the 1st New London guards themselves. As soon as they had passed into the hall, indicating Takeshi take a seat on the bench facing the office, the door hissed shut. Michelle turned to look at Natalie and Charlotte.

Ladies. I have two comments, and two comments only. I'll lay them out, and give you my proposal. I need you to agree please. Then we shall call this young gentleman back in, and deliver the good news.

She looks at Natalie as she speaks

I'm not entirely convinced as yet. I feel he danced around my questions a little too much. My second point, Natalie, is I fear there will be a conflict of interest if Mister Takeshi was to fall under your command.

This leads to my proposal. Mister Takeshi will be assigned to the 1st New London fleet. As such, he will fall direct under my watchful eye. Here, he will have a chance to prove himself, and for me to be entirely convinced that a conflict of interests is not something to fear. If these two items can be fulfilled, then we can look at transfer papers pertaining to another fleet.
