Yeah some people do come here because its a video game, and does allow pvp death (crazy eh? no not really). I've rarely come across those who sought out disco seeking RP first, as instead people develop into it as they go. I understand wanting to be able to compete with other players, the more experienced ones especially. I think you'll find though that 'codes' are not the magic wande you need. They may help, but skill comes from practice. Even a well experienced player can be quite effective with basic weapons and ship set up.
Secondly, it may already be mentioned, but you can buy codes. Not just from NPC bases, but many players deal the codename weapons you seek, and sell them from POB's they operate. If you're willing to reach out oorp about the hunt, I advise reaching out inrp, and send a message to codename dealers.
Don't let the old timers scare you about RP etc they've all had their day in battle and now its easy to turn around and say 'what you came here for pvp and no RP??'. Thats a high and mighty attitude some players develop like it lets them own the server a bit more than others. RP at your own pace. PVP all you want, if you follow the rules, there's no problem!
