Vaelin tried to not look away, but there was only so much you could expect. Expecially when one decided to add a bright flash into the mix. He couldn't help but flinch away from it, his right hand moving to his eyes and rubbing at them.

"Thomas, I think we need to teach you the word: Forewarning, and when its appropriate to do so." The tone that carried in his voice was accusing. It was after Vaelin and finally cleared his vision that he took notice of the feminine figure. His eyes narrowed at her as he looked her outfit over and then he features of her face. With the unexpected guest his expression took on a less 'open' stance.

"Satrina sounds awfully similar to Saturnia." He of course suspect a reason. He didn't really have intimate knowledge of Nomads which left him speculating things. things that could be true or completely fictional. He stepped down from the cross, assuming he was done. "I would have to take it that a lot of people here, aren't exactly as they were born. But then again, I do have a broad ignorance to things nomad related."

He resided a fair distance a way from her. The weight of his attention had been caught on the new arrival for sometime before finally shifting to Thomas, although not fully. "I would take it that this persons presence is significant."
