Remove all guns and turrets from spawned NPCs. Remove their CDs too. This will stop them being such a nuisance in PvP and RP.
A way to make this even better would be to tweak their AI so that they don't target players. Suggestions like this seem to be the only way we can get the other crazy side of community who desperately want them to stay.

Seriously though people, we don't need NPCs. We should just remove them completely. They do more harm than good.
