I think it's fair to say that the Crecy has a "broken hitbox", that being said nerfing stats isn't really needed. Even though we have the Kirk (which is a great ship) we are rather in love with our Destroyer. I would love the Obby to be buffed so we could have more intense fights between each ship. I wouldn't say that the Obby is the worse Cruiser in the mod, it can easily be fitted out to be used as a long range support vessel with Missiles (which do loooaddds of damage in a solid barrage of 3 Obbys) and mortars.
The Valor is a great ship, I would say it's pretty equal and the Gallic side had found a great strategy to winning capital fights when they have 3-4 valors. Flying in a compact group, it's really hard to win against. A Crecy is a Destroyer so it is considerably smaller than a cruiser (Obby) and so it's harder to hit. I'm not saying make it bigger because that defeats the object of classing it as a Destroyer; instead fix the hitbox, it's going to equal out the ship a lot. As an experienced Cap pilot I can safely say that there would be no other changes that would make it even more equal.
To re-iterate, buff the Obby - Make it's hull bigger and make it's core slightly larger (since it's a cruiser after all) that way both sides can be happy (:
We don't want to see our ships "crumble to the devs!" so to speak, but personally I would definitely like some better pews with the Obby.
As for the snubs, BAF| don't have any skill in snubs. The end aha. I've seen what the Templar can do in the right hands but I still believe the shield is too large for the ship. There are parts of the shield where you can shoot a considerable distance away from the ship and it still takes damage. But hey, apparently the shield sizes are going up anyway so we might get some success I don't know.
