Bounty Hunter Ships

One thing to take into account. At the time that DW arrived here we DID question about what ships were allowed and which ones were not. We were informed that purchasing ANY house ship was allowed.

I really doubt you got that answer to be brutally honest.

So what is next..a listing of what factions "control" what ship from battleships all the way down to fighters and then forcing every player to change to a more appropriate vessel.

No, people generally use common sense and read the ship's inforcard first, try it next time.

1. Yes DW are BountyHunters - The original thought of being mercs was rejected as the original ID stated that the pilot could not be part of a clan.

I have my doubts about that, but meh.

2. Captainpoo - it costs 435 million to trade from a libety carrier to a BH battleship. The battlecruiser is a serious step down in ship class as it is only a heavy cruiser (all but 2 guns are class 9) about the same as asking someone to trade in their destroyer for a bomber.

And your point is? Several pirate faction pilots sell for alot more then BHG pilots do and a carrier has a damn big hold for a reason.

3. kingvaillant - you want to fine me for having a ship that was asked about prior to purchase and was permitted at that time..you want me to switch..you either wait until i generate almost half a billion credits or you hand it to me. Making threats like that after the fact is being an jerk. As far as paying it..i would not hold my breath for it and attacking us will most likely result in something you would be better off avoiding.

Actually as the offical liberty navy faction they can enforce whatever laws they want to as long as those laws don't break the server rules.

As for the jerk comment, that was an uncalled for personal insult.

As for the comment about not trying to fine you... thats a threat, a threat that you will not be able to back up either (mostly due to the horde of independents who will shred your little capship).

4. Chopper - you forgot to mention that ALL the ships in Omega-15 at the time you entered were all independents. I noticed them when I was taking my "illegal" ship to dock to be decommissioned.
An SA made a comment that the outcasts were permitted to use a bomber that was not allowed and then they switched once one was available. How exactly does trading out a 6 million credit vessel equal a 700 million vessel? I know the concept is the same..but dont expect it to be done overnight.

No, but you can at least be seen to be trying to do something about it.

I can field the first one. A long long time ago, in the same galaxy, when there no such thing as Bounty Hunter capships, they got permission to buy "any house ship."

Correction, the BHG battleship and destroyer came out about a 1.5/2 years ago, so there has been no need for any bounty hunter not to use them. As for the claim that DW were here before the capships came out... I was here about a year ago, the ships I mentioned above were here (killed several BHG players BS as a phantom) and I don't recall there being any sign of any DW.

Or in your opinion its ok for unlawfuls to do things that would be out of RP but its not alright for lawfuls to. Sounds very much like a unlawful doing most the complaining in order to gain an unfair advantage.

You need to back off and cool down for abit before you flame anyone else and get this thread locked.

BHG players have practically free reign to go anywhere, they can actively hunt pirates and they have their own complete line of ships to boot:-
LF,
HF,
upgraded LF,
2x VHFs,
bomber,
Gunship,
Gunboat,
Destroyer,
Battlecruiser,
Battleship.

It's a damn shame (and a disgrace to those who do), that a few are tarnishing the rep of all the others by using their IDs as an excuse to PvP wherever and whenever they like, flying whatever ship they like and using whatever guns they like.
