You do realize removing them would not have any sense for the lore in the first place? -__- Not to point fingers anywhere, but it was devs idea to remove Emperor from Kusari. If RP cannot be pushed forward by anyone, make the devs repair it.

Anyway as for the 'Emperor' thing - that is actually simple. Let me write down in a poetic way.
There once were 2 people, lets call them Friday and Zelot.
Friday was leading Kishiro and GMG, Friday was also very annoyed that Kishiro were so undernerfed in comparsion to Samura. Samura had it all! They controlled the house, they had more stations, their own planets. Oh how lively.
Then came a Zelot, with a wonderful idea! "Hey Friday, lets do a coup in Kusari! My Emperor character will have its own thing and Kishiro will rule Kusari, great huh?"
So then things set in motion and Emperor was exiled, and Kusari Exiles faction was formed, little did Zelot know that administration team had a slightly different plans for the faction.
"Make it closed and only mine!" Zelot yelled
"No! But...." replied the admins in a firm tone "We are willing to let it be semi-closed, official faction with ability to fly ships up to any size, and indies that can only fly up to snubs!"
Zelot was angered "My offer or nothing!"
Nothing it was, and so were the exiles born, open faction letting to be part of to all.
Zelot was angered, but not yet succumbed "I will make an official faction the hard way!" and used [Ronin] tag.
A while has passed and [Ronin] has failed, forward with the notion we made.
Kusari was left, abandoned to all, nobody cared or at least it seemed so.
Then we tried, players of Kusari, to change the cruel fate and make Kusari worth a journey.
We are still attempting, chatting with Max, in hope that Kusari will be a nice place to do more than relax.
