Sir, I'd like to request permission to temporarily transfer myself and some of the men under my command to the deep omicrons as part of a training effort under the Order's tutelage.

The intended resources include: 12 officers, enlisted men and technicians, exact list included in a separate attachment

The timeframe is up to one month.

As things stand, I have more personnel than equipment and upon conversing with some of the Order liason officers, I have been extended an invitation to participate in a term of special training. I firmly believe, that with the proximity of several active xeno installations to our own assets, we, as a nation and military are dangerously exposed to potential infiltration and the effects of xenotech we have little understanding of.
Infested warships have already been encountered in the region and that xeno sympathizers in the form of religious cults or parties are known to exist as well.

The order is undeniably most experienced when dealing with aliens hostile to us all. Should (heavens forbid) any of our own succumb to alien influences, I don't believe the order would be allowed or chose to interfere directly for diplomatic reasons. I'd like to therefore dispatch the otherwise idle manpower under my command to partake in the order's courses. Upon return, those same men would disseminate expert knowledge on the subject and help quite literally keep us all human. Now, I do realize, that this is essentially an international matter, thus perhaps requiring some input from Foreign Affairs. If I may be so bold as to suggest the presence of a diplomatic representative or at least instructions as to what additional deals to pursue, I am certain additional benefits can be secured.
