This is a summary report that covers several topics.
Supply contract with [*USI*] was completed well in advance and repairs on LNS-Cincinnati commenced their final phase.
Increased activity of Hellfire Legion in Liberty is noticeable. Even though their smaller division (TFG) receded into background, their primary fleet returned "in glory" and is now raiding New York on a daily basis. It is not surprising that most efforts to establish a dialogue turn into violence. Hellfire usually invade in packs of 2–6 snubcrafts + 1 gunboat (occasionaly). Larger vessels are rare. Needless to say, LPI can't handle them alone. Bringing capital vessels into these fights is contraproductive.
I was informed (via private channel) about an illegal base in Bering. The source of this information remains unknown, person did not introduce himself and even our best analysts could not trace him. In order to investigate this violation I went to Bering with another Navy pilot, Tommy Vengeance. We found the base exactly at coordinates provided by the source. The base is called New Hope Freeport and is probably affiliated to Zoners. Docking requests were all denied. New Hope Freeport is not registered in the list of permitted bases.
Reports about the so-called Kissaki group are very scarce if any. The leader of this group is a female person who calls herself "Kissaki" or "Angel". She is flying a Zoner "Aquilon" Carrier called The.Kissaki. The other smaller crafts are her companions(?). They all share some common denominators: cautiousness, shyness and reluctance to provide direct answers. One would call it a mysteriousness. Despite everything, they never showed any hostility towards law enforcements or citizens (only when in self-defense). This is a list of known vessels flying under the Kissaki banner:
From the few conversations I had with the Kissaki group I could not come to any reasonable conclusions. Their behavior led me to believe that they are either infested or taking hallucinogenic substances. In spite of that, there was always something more about them that worried me. It was either lack (or faint traces) of bio-signals aboard their ships or strange appearance of their hull (signs of unidentified adaptation to surroundings).
Last encounter with the Kissaki was only recently. I accidentaly discovered their capital vessel about 20 clicks from Colorado JH. The mere presence of Zoner Carrier in Liberty (without permission) is in direct violation of law. Furthermore, cargoscans revealed possesion of forbidden items: artifacts and nomad weaponry. My long-range communication device was not working so I decided to take the situation into my own hands. I contacted the captain (Kissaki) via short-range comms. The following are excerpts from the recorded conversation while we slowly moved through Colorado and Kepler. Feel free to make up your own mind.
5th|Jim:Schofield: Do you have a permission to be in Liberty? The.Kissaki: I think /you/ should know that answer.
···
···
··· 5th|Jim:Schofield: You'll have to follow me to Liberty borders, drop the artifacts and leave Liberty. The.Kissaki: Tell me. Why did you sign up for the Navy? 5th|Jim:Schofield: And I don't see your scouts, are they cloaked? The.Kissaki: Gone. 5th|Jim:Schofield: Gone where? The.Kissaki: To observe. To watch.
···
···
··· The.Kissaki: Liberty - you - your people - are not my interests.
···
···
··· 5th|Jim:Schofield: Nomad guns? Where have you acquired those? The.Kissaki: Many places. 5th|Jim:Schofield: You'll have to drop them, along with artifacts, are you aware of that? The.Kissaki: Obviously. 5th|Jim:Schofield: I don't know why are you keeping them, perhaps for research? The.Kissaki: Some of these are harmless and have lived up to their usage. Some of them are needed for a function.
···
···
··· 5th|Jim:Schofield: You're a person. Thanks for at least this bit of information. The.Kissaki: Oh. Indeed. So you think. 5th|Jim:Schofield: What does that supposed to mean? The.Kissaki: Nothing.
···
···
··· The.Kissaki: We... (cough) This is a home. The operation of... many things. A place to grow up.... 5th|Jim:Schofield: Your crew are your family? The.Kissaki: I wouldn't say so. My family are a... long and historical adventure.
···
···
··· 5th|Jim:Schofield: What's with your hull? The.Kissaki: What do you mean? 5th|Jim:Schofield: Looks not ordinary. Not as ordinary metal or alloy. The.Kissaki: Perhaps it is different from the usual designs, but not "broken" or "wrong" in any way.
···
···
··· 5th|Jim:Schofield: You're carrying forbidden items. I'm obliged to ask you to drop them. The.Kissaki: And if we... I, deny? 5th|Jim:Schofield: Didn't think about that yet. The.Kissaki: Well then. 5th|Jim:Schofield: But is there a need? The.Kissaki: Usually, your kind would end up attempting to kill us. You're welcome to come aboard and "shoot" me. 5th|Jim:Schofield: Why would I want to shoot you? The.Kissaki: Why not? Oh... Oh my. 5th|Jim:Schofield: What is it? The.Kissaki: You don't even. No.... 5th|Jim:Schofield: *radio check* The.Kissaki: It is nothing. 5th|Jim:Schofield: Are you alright? The.Kissaki: Indeed. I am. 5th|Jim:Schofield: I hope you're not having suicidal intentions. The.Kissaki: Why would I? That would be wasteful.
···
···
··· The.Kissaki: The artifacts are required. Powering reasons. 5th|Jim:Schofield: What power? The.Kissaki: Well. This ships power, it assists in that.
···
···
··· 5th|Jim:Schofield: But... who are you, then? The.Kissaki: I told you "who" I am. I am "Angel". I had a name before... this. Yes. 5th|Jim:Schofield: What the hell? Before what? The.Kissaki: Nothing major. 5th|Jim:Schofield: You're an angel. Right. The.Kissaki: Let's say, reflect of personality.
···
···
··· 5th|Jim:Schofield: You see, I don't detect almost any lifeforms in your ship, but I guess it's my broken sensor. Must be. The.Kissaki: You could be right.
···
···
··· 5th|Jim:Schofield: That radiation would kill a dreadnought. Your ship, however, seemed to be okay with it... How is that possible? The.Kissaki: You could go to a certain lengths for adaptation. Such a shame it can't be applied to the exterior equipment....
It should be noted that even though Kissaki did not cooperate fully, she showed some signs of good will.
