Hello, [LN] lead and LibGov member and person trying to work with Congress and all that
My principal concern has and will always be not the fact that Congress had cardamine on their base, but that they willingly said and I quote:
"I don't have to explain anything to you, now die."
And then opened fire on Liberty officials within Texas? (Perhaps PR, I wasn't there, but there were a substantial amount of screenshots, DSAce, and anecdotal evidence to back it up.) I fundamentally disagree with the idea that Congress think they can get away with pulling that kind of attitude against Liberty forces and openly engage them without so much as a care to the consequences they are bringing upon themselves if they do so.
I've talked rather extensively with both JT and WildBill, brought up my concerns, and they've brought up their own. I've dispensed their concerns into LibGov, and for the most part LibGov has attempted to be accomodating. We've adopted a complete ban on the idea of severely hampering Congress' activity in Liberty or taxing them incredibly harshly, and we've strictly negated any idea of FR5ing them, as there is no reason to do so. And yet, they persist in their motions of almost off-the-wall roleplay in the trial thread (that they asked for, repeatedly), to the point at which I can no longer in good faith sympathize with the Congress position.
I've pulled myself away from the situation as I do not wish to cause [LN] undue damage by involving myself, as faction lead, in the situation, but I found that making this strict clarification would help to ease hostilities and finger pointing as, at this point, a lot of accusations are being made without the full situation being realized.
