Wow. That system is a bit old! As Hyperion said, overclock the CPU. That alone will boost performance. However: If you do, GET NEW RAM! You have a single 256MB stick in there. The Celeron steals from the RAM, so you're gonna want to get some new stuff. For now, you could just get a single 256 again and save there. The video card I would advise is this one here. End price is USD $18.99, very good for an EVGA card. I know it's only an FX5500, but that's what I used for several years. Very good card, the reviews are very positive.
