Nah this isn't a penis waving contest, this is just shy of flame thrower warfare. It is however barely relevant, I feel.

As it stands, if you boost out of scanner range you are out of the fight, if you get out of scanner range by any means you are out of the fight, if you engage cruise for any reason you are out of the fight, you don't even have to leave scanner range for that to take effect. If they didn't cruise and you can still see em on your HUD, they are still in the fight, no matter what your personal opinions on the matter.

As for hanging back til the fighter goes pop, sound and valid tactic. Take advantage of the confusion. Next time you'll know.
