people must stop thinking of reporting someone for a violation as a "winning situation". there are people that take joy in reporting others. - but should realize that each report is basicly a situation where everyone looses, cause its a general failure of how a community should work.
the very most situations can be solved without reports, even if there HAS been re-engagement or a violation. a report and interuption causes more ooRPness than simply going on. of course there is a limit to what someone can take - aswell as an unwillingness of some players to adhere to the rules in favour for personal advantages. but a simple "left the scanner range for a few seconds" or an accidental cruise shouldn t be reported right away. ( in my opinion, - ... i have once cried out"//you cruised, you must not re-engage me again" in a fight, when the other one activated his cruise engines, not even to catch me up... .. but i felt utterly embarrassed shortly afterwards and pretty silly, cause it was just such a wrong thing to to )
