Move PoBs from the Mining Fields

1. In real life, what is supposed to be role played in Discovery, but some years in the future. Where do you build an ore mine? Where do you build an oil pump? Where do you build a big storage? Where do you build a shopping center? Exactly! Where the ore is, where the oil is, where you need a storage, where the people are!

2. Where are gold bars stored? Exactly in a highly secured building like Fort Knox. With huge walls, automatic weapons, security personal and barbed wire fence. You do not store it in a wooden hut without a door! Also you do not drive around with your excavator but in an armed truck (what a slow, fat and weak mining ship definitely is not)!

3. Only large groups can afford to protect for example two miners with four protectors. Think about people enjoying that game nearly alone. So, will it be fun to be raped every day by two pirates, without any chance in the mining ship? Also will it be fun to fly all the way to your storage in a mining ship or even haul it in a mining ship?

4. In this server, with less people every day, you really want to destroy the only reason for some people to still play here? The reason that a base could be because they built for about a year? Instead of improving POBs with interesting enhancements that have been discussed here many times you really want to make them less interesting? Well, please just delete them then. Also delete BS and Gallia. And yes all other enhancements too, let's play the good old unmodded Freelancer again.

5. Perhaps the real reason for this discussion is that pirates became too lazy to invest some effort to get the treasure. Remember the good old day in the Carribean. One pirate ship against the whole Navy! Pirating is not supposed to be easy!!! In what pirate funny pink and glittering universe are we supposed to "live"?? If there are anti battleship platforms (you really want to raid a miner in a BS?? Really??) please use another ship instead. I got pirated as a miner of creative pirates many times near Fortitudine. With good RP, with skills to avoid to be shot down in a snub from an anti BS platform, clever enough to activate the shields to avoid docking.
