Windows 8 -8.1?

Do you have a Windows 8.1 key somewhere? If so, you could use Rufus and download Windows from their site manually. Then it's quite easy :

In case you want to reinstall Windows 8+8.1 totally

- Download Rufus from here = https://thepiratebay.se/torrent/9069782/RUFUS_create_bootable_USB_flash_drives%28EASY%29
- Download Windows 8 Setup Tool from here = http://www.chip.de/downloads/Windows-8-Setup-Tool_64940095.html
- Run it, enter your product key
- After you got the ISO from the setup tool, get a flash drive (USB-Stick)
- Open Rufus , choose the ISO and the flash drive
- Check the box that says "bootable usb stick" or so
- Then restart your PC after it's done, go into BIOS
- Change boot device settings to : removable device/the usb stick
- Restart again
- Press any key while startup to get into Windows setup

In case you do want to try, only to install Windows 8.1 on your current Windows

- Install it
- No need to enter a Windows 8.1 key, the Windows 8 key is more then enough if asked for.

Doing anything of the above, will automatically update&install media center, don't worry.
