R.I.P. Win XP

I did like Windows XP a lot. It ran quite well, and the machine had decent specs for the time. Across the nine or so years that I used the OS, it only blue screened half a dozen times. Anyway, earlier this week, I passed by some maintenance worker with it on his laptop ... the feels were reals.

These days I run Win7 on my desktop computer, and it's been been a great replacement. My main issue with it has been its lack of backwards compatibility with some older games, such as Earthsiege II and more recently Dungeon Siege, for some reason. I definitely prefer it to my 8.1 laptop, but despite the bad rap, eight actually isn't that bad.

I do have another machine, though, which is about twenty years old and runs Windows 98 SE. It might have a 75 Mhz Intel Processor and 40.5 MB of RAM, but it still works just fine.
