"Yeah yeah. I know I couldn't get the shipment done-

It's not my fault I'm getting called back to port! How about you shove you-

No. No, that's fine. I'll hand off the delivery to Mike. Yeah the guy with the chopped hair. Yeah. Alright."

Adam Barton hung up the old wall phone. He never understood why they had to use wired communications for everything on the station. It made sense to have them in the case of interference but to use them as a standard seemed like a waste. If anything it was just a pain and slowed things down.

Barton looked towards the fighter docks. It seems his contact was finally here, whoever it was. Whoever he was made him have to double back mid delivery. That caused quite a lot of strain on the engines and power core. Whoever this guy was better be worth it for the sake of his ship. Things work a lot differently on a shipyard than where ever this snobbish officer was from.

He collected a sling bag that laid beside the phone and threw the strap over his head. With that, he checked the time and walked over to his meeting. He spotted the guy standing around in one halls. He knew it was him because everyone else was working in the actual dry docks. Whoever this guy is really needs to get better at fitting in.

He approached the man and stood about five yards away. Barton's idea was to see how this guy can deal with talking with so much noise from the docks in the background.

"What do you want."
