Fine. Your point is that they can just re-name themselves and go on their way.
So are you saying then at the moment in game when you encounter an indy they should not be treated like an official just becasue of that?

Just because you don't know what to expect from them. Just because you don't know who's behind a name you've never seen.

(Unlike to a tag you know where on the forums you can get more information about them before meeting any of them.)

The whole point is immersion and the like. Yes a group will be there. Yes an individual can come and then be gone the next day. At that moment though when you encounter an indy is it fair to judge? imo no it is not.

That's the difference between treating an indy and an official. You can find information about officials as a basis for your judgement, but in the case of indies all you have is your experiences. And I've already explained above why those can be negative for many players.

So when you have less experience/knowledge about them then you treat them worse? What happened to the excitement of meeting new people?
