Was gonna edit my post but this can go in one of its own.
If there is something you want to do and it breaks a rule you should ask "hey can I do XYZ" and then once you have been given a reply with words to the effect of "yes" then go ahead and do XYZ.
Rather than doing XYZ and then asking "hey is me doing XYZ cool".
That is like me going around killing someone and then saying "I though the law against murder was obsolete, so you forgive me right"
Whereas the correct way to go about it would be to say "Can I go kill people please" Then when I get told it isn't ok I haven't broken any rules.
