Greetings, Lane Hackers.
I've managed to complete all tasks and I'm currently on Airdrie, sitting and sending this transmission. Well, something about me, huh. I don't know my exact place of birth, but I consider it to be Mactan where my mentor and person who took me in lived. I was found in one of the pods among the wreck and floating parts of a transport in the Barrier, just off the lane towards Mancherster gate. Apparently, the lane malfunctioned and went off, launching the transport at high speed towards a asteroid where it rammed and exploded. The pilot managed to eject the pods just before the impact. I was found in a pod with my mother, who unfortunately passed away in it, because she gave me the oxygen mask so I could survive. I had 3 years when they found me.
A Lane Hacker patrol was passing by and managed to tractor in the pod I was in. I was brought to Mactan where I regained my consciousness after several hours. Bunch of Hackers on the base were confused and couldn't believe that I was the only one who managed to survive. Who knows why and how, I believe everything happens for a reason, there are no coincidences. One man took me under his wings, that was Edmund Wallace. A kind man that originated from Bretonia, who ended up becoming a Lane Hacker. He had a local store, that used to fix all sorts of technical equipment and computers. I used to work there and I learnt a lot of things. That's when I gained great interest to become a Lane Hacker. Edmund was very proud to hear that. As I grew up, I got more and more interest and that's when I learnt to break and write encryption and hack into all kinds of systems. Edmund was a great teacher and mentor for me.
As I got even older, It was time for me to get a vessel and start with Lane Hacking, I guess. I used to sit for on the trade lane which lead to Manchester Gate, same one where Hackers found me. The days were passing and I could only get some spare credits, there wasn't so much visitors as before because of the Bretonian situation. Bretonia got invaded by Gauls and people became too afraid to travel there nowadays. As I returned home... I thought something went wrong, since the workshop was closed. It's never closed on days and sometimes it's even open during the night. I searched all of the rooms, there was no sign from Edmund. I went back to my room to clear my head and to think of my next steps, when I found a little device on my bed. I recognized it's design, it was made by Edmund. It only displayed an encrypted message that I needed to decipher. That's how Edmund taught me when I was a young boy, he made cipher games for me so I could train. It was easy enough for me and only one sentence along with a neural-net link was there... "Join the real Lane Hackers" and a link bellow. I followed it and it brought me to your hacked site. I knew I needed to apply, so I followed instructions and ended up here. Well, here I am. It seems Edmund vanished because of his personal reasons or to protect me, who knows. I'll just have to find him and respect his wish.
