"If the pirate doesn't forcibly stop the trader, he shouldn't be a crybaby about whatever the pirate does to escape. It isn't the trader's job to make sure that the pirate doesn't feel like a frustrated failure.
Instead of whining on the forums about how hard piracy is, some pirates just need to find a new occupation.

i m sure one can judge people in a nicer way - offensive much? - while i agree with you in the general parts, - the trader protection is still a balancing feature and not a roleplay feature, so quesitons about it are legit. when its about roleplay - a pirate would of course blow a trader up if that one did not stop. - and a pirate would even blow a trader up for fun, just cause he can as cause he s evil.
cause we have those rules - doesn t turn a pirate that asks about them into a "crybaby" and does t mean he has to "find a new occupation" or that he is "whining".
so maybe its possible to choose a less offensive terminology then. ( especially from a moderator - we are here to encourage critizism of how things are, not discourage )
