I am pretty shocked that what should be standard of the roleplaying is called elitist. It's pointless to discuss it further then.
You are being elitist, yes.
Guess what, there is no standard.
What Spazzy said. There is nothing like standard of roleplaying, only thing which may exist is YOUR standard of roleplaying. What is matter of your opinion and experience completely.
Also, do you realize that in this community are people who are doing RP in several type of games for ten or even twenty years, but also very new people who has no experience? Sometimes I meet people who doesn´t execute Hamlet quality of roleplay, but they obviously just don´t have much experience. But they try. And that´s what matters for me, what I appreciate and I would never dare to call their RP "poor".
Or should we establish some "Roleplaying Evaluation Commission" which will judge what is good RP and what is poor RP? How? By what criterias? And would we do with those who would fail?

I have had similar thoughts and think this is a brilliant idea. Haters are going to hate, but believe it or not this is the magic pill that would completely revive this game.
Sure, let´s delete all the roleplay which players done in other houses and all other roles than those which Liberty factions offer. That will for sure motivate people to continue playing here and nobody will (rage)quit because of that.
I believe this is very good receipt for Disco´s final nail.
