@Miaou: I don't really care if it is Bretonia or Gallia or whatever. I care for Disco overall. I have that stuff on my sig because I have a say in Bretonian businesses, which is because I am playing there for the longest time. I'd like to put Gallic stuff there too, but I have no say in Gallia. I would have probably started in Gallia if there was anything interesting in it when I started Disco because I like French culture the same as British (but more than American, Japanese and German), but Gallia is more beautiful than Bretonia and has better looking ships. The thing is, Bretonia had a short, profitable and relatively safe trade route between Leeds and New London, with basic alloy and refugees. I went to Gallia once to buy L'Ane, the Brigan transport, because it looked awesome. I also wanted to explore it and see if there were any good routes, but I was shot at by everything lawful, so I returned.
I would gladly join the GRN| and encourage all the Bohemes to do the same, but I can't fly a battleship as an Aspirant. I'd have to grind all the way to Général. I'm not interested in other factions because they don't have battleships. I am interested in the Council actually, and RPing a French liberal is something I'd like to do, but royalist Gallia needs more help than its enemies. I might try to join the Council at some point after this problem is solved if I don't lose faith in Disco completely before that.
