The Okeanos Explorer arrived in orbit of Planet Moros partway through the 3rd watch. The scientific teams spent a few hours reading themselves along with the Hermes and Hestia before descending to the planet’s surface. We had arrived in this area to study a magnetic abnormality that was picked up from an earlier research team. When the Okeanos first arrived we performed a deep radar scan of the area, this scan indicated that a huge object was within the magnetic abnormality. Further scans indicated that as much as 60% of the object was further buried into the planet’s surface.

While de-orbiting and on final approach the Hermes managed to take a photo while performing surface scans of the object. While the initial readings indicated a single large structure the surface scans showed an entirely different object. A sphere made of an unknown material was embedded in a frame also made of an unknown, but visually different material. Preliminary scans indicated that the sphere itself was not interacting with the environment around it, as no trace of erosion or corrosion was found. The frame however exhibits signs of corrosion similar to other installations that have already been found and explored across the planet. As of yet neither away team has found an entrance into the object, however much of the ruin contains writing that has already been linked to other Daam K’Vosh installations.
