Dynamic lighting? Since when?

You obviously have one of the "source" lights on your ship. I noticed when I pimped my lights that you can only have 3 or 4 source lights at a time, and if you move close to something else that has a source light they start to turn themselves off and on. Would be cool if there was a way to raise the number of possible source lights.

Also, do other people see my source lights exactly the way I see them? Or is it just visible for one's own ship?
