This. I'd love this. Would make rendezvous points and the like so much easier when with a group coming from various directions.
As for the original suggestion. Nah don't really see the point. The AFK use wouldn't be the issue if it had other advantages, but it doesn't. It really only serves AFK use. If you're not AFK you can just press the go to button and that's all, no big deal.
