The Okeanos has been placed into geostationary orbit above what appears to be an ancient space port, or trade center. The Hestia has been sent to the surface with a small team. While the ruins are our main focus; surface time has also been scheduled for the survey teams to study the planet itself. Given the ever-changing political climate of Omicron Delta the construction of a permanent surface facility has been rejected outright. The Commander has elected instead to send a team down daily to the surface, with the strict requirement of returning by sun-down Nauru local time. For the science teams protection these expeditions are accompanied by a squadron of marines. While we have fears of assault from the various warring factions so far many of the groups have either kept to themselves or expressed interest in our continued research.
