Actually, why the hell is there reverse in Freelancer ?

It is for you to can get 50 meter back , re-center and re-dock when you get stuck in trade lines with Luxury liner !

Good point, I used my Luxury liner so long ago, I almost forgot xD

than I think I can live without EK , Strafe and reverse.

That's literally what makes FL fighting system good though.

And it makes me grow a few more fingers or invent a keyboard just for playing FL , or reconfigure the entire keyboard layout so I can use strafing, rolling and every other thing ( weapon groups , CD , CM , Mines , etc. ) at the same time ... I can't even always remember how I configured reverse to be

Do remember 16 year olds can fly space ships, so you can play a silly pc game that requires more than WASD and clicking a mouse button : ))

I didn't say I can't play, but I can't remember where I configure all the keys, for the 4 strafe directions, then the 2 rolls, the reverse, the CM , weapon groups and so on... and they should be around the WASD area , cause you don't have time to look for a key on the other end of the keyboard.
