• Character biography:
Originally from the house of Bretonia he was taken as a slave to Malta where he grew up under the roof of one of the more prominent houses on Malta, that of ‘Maximo Peláez’. Here he was taught how to obey and do the will of his master. Over the years he proved himself to be trustworthy as well as having a steady hand when it came down to being a pilot and combat itself. Maximo had given Michah a new name; Axel, as he saw him as a blessing to his family. Having been taught by his master and showing talent he eventually made his way to becoming the personal bodyguard, having become more than just a slave to Maximo and his family.
Upon passing of Maximo due to age, Axel was granted freedom. Being allowed to roam free as he’d see fit. However Axel lacked the money and goals to really go out and fend for himself. He did however take gratitude in the gesture shown to him by Maximo and his family and would honor it. Wanting to pick up arms against the enemies of Malta he decided to look around to see who would have him. As many other family’s would still see him as a ‘common slave’. But if they knew the Paláez family, they would also know that Maximo always spoke highly about Axel.

Wanting to honor the reward of freedom he was given from his previous master by taking up arms against the enemies of Malta.
