Guten Abend Frau Kommissar Laurich.
First of all, let me apologize for the incident that occured on planet Hamburg's low orbit with the Polizeidirektoren Laura Carsten. It is not within my doctrine to let work half finished and the administrative registration of the mobile laboratory i'm responsibe with is a part of it. Therefor, I've decided to carry this task myself in order for me to continue my researches as quick as possible. Rest assured that during the registration process and until its final completion, the laboratory will stayed moored at the planet launchpad. Any dued fines or penalties will also be accepted without discussion by the Daumann Heavy Constuction Research & Developpment department.
Then, please let me introduce you to a quick summary of this special ship. Indeed, the R&D department is very proud of their new laboratory. This specially designed "S" series "Behemot" is the spearhead in scientific sample gathering. This brand new tool will have an important role to play in the future of Daumann and Rheinland.
The R&D department choosed the Behemot for her perfect size and displacement. Indeed, her cargo hold proportions was the fitest to receive the necessary conversions to welcome the needed instruments and equipments. Equipped with the finest armor, capable of withstanding long duration flights near the strongest sun aurora, this ship will be able to gather science from toughest the place nature can throw at it. A variety of sensors and radar detecting the slightest disturbance in several fields and a matter collector array.
In order to avoid any noises and deformations of the data inputs on the instruments, two main components of the ship have been added. Firstly the shield. Only a class 6 civilian light shield has been mounted for its low energy signature and consumptions. And secondly, an heavy EM radiation bender, also know as a cloaking device. Obvioulsy, beeing able to eliminate the instrument and the ship themselves render the data collection into a level of precision so far never achieved. All those instruments, amongst the thousand needed heavy batteries, fit perfectly into the Behemot. Every inches of the ship's hull is beeing used, also contributing to a more precise use.
This ship is very new, even for us at the department. The future use of this ship remains unclear as the scientific possibilities this ship gives us are endless. However we understand that the use of those EM radiation bender devices is stricltly limited by law due to their hiding properties and we would like to tell you hereby that we will respect it. We will gladly answer any of your further request should you need any information from us more regarding this ship and its registration.
I'm looking forward to hear from you.
Sincerly,
Doctor Sunday Erlenmeyer Daumann Heavy Construction Research & Development Division
