The Repair Update

Later today, Repair Ships will receive a long due update. All three former fighter turret slots are now transport turret slots, and a new slot dedicated to the Repair Tool has been added. The bat/bot count has been reduced to 200, which roughly provides 6 complete refills of hull and 3 refills of the Freighter shield.

The repair tool is entirely handled by FLHook and as such it is standardized over all ship classes. The healing rate on an idle ship is of 1%/s (0.25%/shot), provided all shots hit the hull. Please note a ship with its shields raised will not be able to be repaired. The shields must be down. For the time being it will be limited to the hull, so it will not be able to repair damaged turrets/guns.

The Repair Tool will be purchasable on any station where you can buy a repair ship. Don't be fooled by the slot name, you won't be able to undock with a forward gun on a repair ship. RIP all dreams.
