A question on Synthesizers

First up, those aren't synthesizers but keyboards and/or electronic pianos. Analog synthesizers are something completely different.

Yeah. People tend to call regular keyboards synths, but you usually get what's the deal about after the customer describes for what purpose he wants to use.

The EZ-220 is indeed a genuine device, but as my pianist friend suggested it's better to learn reading sheets without it, should learn the sounds instead the hand gestures. That was him, might be a different case with other people.

Spazzy, if you have the chance to try them, get the one with the better sound. Don't go for the "oh, so many voices, effects, styles... it's a must get". Try out as much as you can and you'll hear the difference. Yamaha will be the best for you, but there is difference between them too.

Edit: Just saw that you get a foot switch as well with the V80, at least Thomann gives one in the package.
