Nvidia GTX query/Laptop questions

So i basically just ordered a 960 2GB. I feel i didn't need the 4GB version since it did bump the price substantially and really, i probably wont use all of that in my games. I play older stuff such as FC3/Discovery/COH more often than not and it doesn't actually use much memory. I'll look into my CPU if it turns out that thing is a bit out of puff in games, but it seems to cope quite well so far. It will need a new cooler however, since the cooler thats on it i stole from a Pentium G2030 (The stock CPU that came with that board a year or so ago) and its starting to sound quite ill so i'll be slapping a coolermaster on there at some point.

Anyway on to my next topic, decided to recycle this thread. My laptop is quite frankly the most unreliable thing in the world. It overheats frequently forcing a shutdown, it's had two replacement hard drives this year alone. Right now it's getting very-very sluggish and i require the thing for my college studies. I do service it regularly, i last had it apart back in September where i replaced all the thermal paste along with a cracked heat sink.This along with a thorough cleaning. (Somehow its made not much of a difference). Anyway i wondered if someone could recommend a hard drive and any other components that could improve this pile of scrap. I really don't want to spend a lot of money on replacing the entire machine since all it does is type word documents, play music and browse the web. It is a Toshiba C855-1TC. Spec: Intel Pentium B960 @ 2.2Ghz, 6GB RAM and a 150GB HDD (This HDD is the only one i had left after it blew out a brand new one i put in it..) Any input would be great. I honestly hate laptops, but it's an unfortunate necessity in my case. Cheers!
