Another reason Gallia is dead is because the primary sources of activity for the entire House were shifted out into the Taus and Bretonia. Given that this was an intentional design choice from the beginning, sometimes I wonder if Igiss ever actually wanted Gallia to succeed...

The only time Gallic factions have ever predominantly operated in their own space was when they were forced to by the rules in .85 during the border world transitional release. As soon as they got access to Sirius, there was an exodus to places where things actually happened.

The whole place is a perfect storm of good intentions stemming from bad ideas.
