Umm, I see that you are all getting carried away very quickly. Remember what happen when mining stuff got buffed. Did player interactions increased?

Yes, I remember the Gold Rush in Dublin. I remember that I made a Molly pirate specifically for that. I remember having a BMM transport. I remember lots and lots of pirates along the gold ore trade routes. I remember that I was trying to avoid them by taking some very long and risky routes. I remember being attacked on those routes as well. I also remember ~150 players every evening.

Do you think that adding another, even more profitable route would make people want to do it more often, rather then make enough money and don't bother with it forever?

There's no such thing as "enough money"!!!

Or do you think that a player with even more expensive cargo would like to interact with anyone?

No, he wouldn't but others would very much like to interact with his cargo
