Role Play in my understanding till now that you imagine a Char you build the outside lines of it according to the ID and be that person who if flaying that ship for that faction not you as who you are in real life and thats the pretty of having more than one Char with more than one faction to enjoy all kind of Diff RP. For example if there is a military person gonna speak in a specific strict way in a tone of ordering sometimes depending on the situation and his job is to protect his faction or people or group from any enemy. so you have to act within that Char and put yourself in his shoes and act accordingly. and for sure if you chose to that Char to be corrupted Police man for example but if the Char from Outcasts for example you would need to stick to a name which would be Italian or Spanish as the ORG history say about Hispania sleeping ship.

Another example you can chose for your Char to be and Old guy who is grumpy and have some problems. can be a woman who hates men. can be a manipulative criminal who have no heart due to some psycho problems related to his Childhood.

The Ideas is unlimited and you have the free will to chose whatever you want for your own Char as long as you can fit it within the History of Freelancer which is the Story of freelancer and the ID rules and the faction story.


Am i right or i am getting too deep that it make things confusing in the end ?

That is actually why some people complain when there is no RP before PVP. it doesn't make sense someone bean another in the street without a reason. there has to be an indecent then a problem both of them doesn't agree upon then the action which is PVP.

For example from real life a thief stealing a car. police man sees him. he stop him and try to investigate. who are you show me your ID where you going what you doing here where you coming from. then he arrest him and take him to the police office, so there is a reason for the police man to open fire if the Thief try to run or try to use a weapon.

Am i right ?
