Only a mere few days after arriving within the Omega-9 system and traversing it's orange-layered nebula's and the Accreation disk, Maverick returned to the Navarro and spoke to an old friend of his, Jayse Maxwell. He last met the former Colonial on planet Manhattan back in Liberty. Maxwell was just a pilot looking for work and getting ends to meet before heading back to home. He found a friend in Maverick for letting him do some clean up on the Cincinnati and exchanging old war stories against the Gallic crown. Just before the end of the conversation, Jayse informs Maverick that he is summoned to the Sovereign for something secret. The co-ordinates were given to Maverick, in a sloppy yet legible note, on where to find the Sovereign as is wasn't moored to Navarro as it was a few hours back.
It was there Maverick had a feeling. Something internal that just made him feel excited like what he wanted was just a travel away. Yet. He felt guilty. Guilty for his own desires and dragging the entire crew behind him. But, alas, Maverick knew... It was time.
