Akumabito was born a clone, one of many from experimental vats in a lab deep in Kyoto base. With his twins he heralded a new offensive by a faction of the Blood Dragons, to bring back the true bloodline of Kusari, and return honor to the people there. Honor lost long ago when Samura betrayed the people of Kusari.

Just as an untempered sword cannot cut well, an untempered clone cannot rule. Akumabito pilots his ship, probing all sections of space, learning what he needs and gaining allies until the day of liberation for Kusari will arrive.
