Just so you all understand why nothing will change.

I read over this thread and I see people saying vocal minority blah blah strawpeople etc. Here's the facts - You are ALL a vocal minority. Let me explain.

If one third of you want change, one third are opposed to them, and one third are indifferent, each group is a minority. This is the reason nothing gets resolved in community debates like this one. I bet I could go back and find a thread just like this one in approx. 3 month increments since the beginning of time. Learn from the mistakes of history, learn that this place is not a democracy, and if you don't like it, move on. The system is purposefully broken so that debates like this amount to nothing. You submit and agree to this simply by having a forum account and participating on the server.

My actual opinion is that this is the stupidest exemption anyone has on the rules. Either one rule for all or none at all. None of this special group apple juice. The admin team assumes too much in terms of people's common sense to let this stay as it is, and the team itself should not be 1IC leading any official factions as situations such as this one could be quite easily seen as favourtism. Yes I'm aware that the nomad leadership has recently changed, however previous to this recent development we all know of the influence admins have had on factions in the past.
