Are you kidding me? 99% of the pirates I meet go with a couple pretty simple probably preset messages and shoot right away when you dont write ok in 5 miliseconds. Then again, some times you meet some nice guys. Like this time I got intercepted in omega 47 by 2 corsairs, and there I went to explain my drama, of how my 'mama' was sick in a hospital at gran canaria and her last wish was to see her only son and blablabla, for short after some long and nice RP they ended up escorting me out of the system instead of shooting me down. That was some memorable interaction.
By the way, when I used to fly as a Rogue I expected to be shot at, have the ship damaged, being chased by the police or the bunters, that was all part of it. The most rare thing was a successful piracy attempt. And THAT is the fun of it. Piracy is not supposed to be easy, anyway.
