It was stated that:

Our transcripts show that there was only one offer made to the Unlawfuls to turn themselves in. Which was denied, but given the fact that there was a battleship on the scene a second or even a third offer to surrender could have been extended.

This is incorrect, the Captain of the Liberty Navy Ship provided transcripts that showing that in fact a second offer to surrender was extended.

The article was corrected to:

The Liberty Navy transcript showed two offers to surrender, which was denied. Nevertheless with the firepower of a battleship on the scene a third offer could have been extended to them. On the other hand the Navy had the legal right to exterminate the Unlawfuls.

We apologize to the Liberty Navy.
