Wait.. somehow why didn't I even know this. Isn't that tactic? If a fighter is running from you, and your in, let's say a gunboat, and you cruise to catch up, it's all part of the tactic!?
I've seen it said before, you can thrust to escape, and I've seen if before you can cruise to catch fleeing victims. I'm really confused now because I've always thought that you can cruise to catch fleeing victims, I never knew that if you tried to catch up you were fleeing.
Now I understand the roleplay in this all, but even this seems really weird to me and now I'm really confused. This is just plain messed up... if you want to kill somebody, you catch them and kill them.
You don't cruise at them and go "Whoopsie, I'm cruising, guess that means I'm running. I guess I'm not allowed to catch up to you, Mr. Fleeing Victim. Darn."
I totaly understand reengaging, but catching a fleeing victim who's running by cruise or thrust should be a totally different story. This is like complete opposite of reengaging.
Strange, seems like a bunch of contradictions to me.
