As a junker I usually consider myself a trader... due to the type of ship I use (transport) and the fact that I'm not an active criminal, terrorist, or member of law enforcement - in all regards we're nuetral as long as we dont start a conflict.
More or less a trader? You might want to make sure you are considered a trader first.
Since you have a transport, it's pretty darn obvious. Frankly, if you are a trader...regardless of whether you die, or not die in an engagement, or whether you flee or not, you may come back to the same system without hesitation.
Traders are exempt from the 4 Hour Rule.
My Interpretation of the Exemption for Traders:
Realize that this rule was established for the sole purpose of preventing reengagment. A transport is not a combat vessel, and thus, it is assumed that you would not be reengaging anyone. Thus, you are allowed back into the system, regardless of whether you flee or die.
