GB Razors

Okay, but gunboats themselves can get instakilled by BS razors. How is that fair?
Or is it because someone who doesn't spend 90% of their online time in Conn dared to kill your snub.

Why are you compering "GB" weapons with "BB" weapons? Why would any gunboat try to go 1400 range close to a BB to allow it to take heavy damage? Also you need 2 razors on BB to one shot a gunboat not one (yes sometimes u can one shot snubs but they are not meant to engage battleships). Razor on BB are barely useful, due to the range, and consume 2.8M energy.
If you are a gunboat, being destroyed by BB razor then u are doing it wrong - I mean anyone that find himself in such situation should simply keep distance.

About the thread topic - My opinion is the nerf to the Razors was necessary in order to remove instant killing, which possibly did more "harm" to the new players than the old ones. What Wesker pointed out is sadly the truth - if you ever used razors you would most likely die often. Full primary/solaris boats need more nerfs and maybe that could be done with with more "heavy" slots and even some "light" ones, where "primary" turrets to fall in the "medium" slots - just to be like BBs, 3 types of weapons.
I agree that the existence of Razors on GBs was to "one shot" someone but I also agree that by doing so most players would not have anything to do to counter the "inevitable" death sooner or later.
