Every time i open a leaving thread i hope to see a change in the replies, every time i just find more mocking and hate.
Siriusly, you guys have been doing this for years as players continue to leave, when are you going to stop?
When there are dozens of leaving threads filled with the same reasons for leaving, is it not time to change?

Or, ya know, keep ignoring the problems, keep ridiculing the players that hand us the information we need, keep relying on the indifferent, the ignorant, the "in-crowd", and most importantly the new to stop discovery from completely dying off, keep blaming the dwindling population on freelancer being an old game, on ddos and hackers, on school holidays, and on newer games.
Because why not, after all it has worked for the past decade, there are always going to be those who complain and leave, you have no reason to do anything but laugh at them and then forget about them.

If the OP was a simple goodbye--the game is not as much fun for me anymore--I'm moving on type of post, then yeah, criticism and ridicule would be frowned upon. But c'mon man, the guy bashed the Devs and Admins on the way out the door. The incident he referenced, I was directly involved in. I'm not going to rehash it other than to say the action we took was totally justified and if the player hadn't tried to circumvent his ban by posting with an alternate account, he would have probably been playing much sooner.

I would suggest that if you want to be treated with respect, then maybe you should act with respect. Otherwise, you're simply inviting the mocking and hate that comes your way.
