Siriusly, you guys have been doing this for years as players continue to leave, when are you going to stop?
When there are dozens of leaving threads filled with the same reasons for leaving, is it not time to change?

Or, ya know, keep ignoring the problems, keep ridiculing the players that hand us the information we need, keep relying on the indifferent, the ignorant, the "in-crowd", and most importantly the new to stop discovery from completely dying off, keep blaming the dwindling population on freelancer being an old game, on ddos and hackers, on school holidays, and on newer games.
Because why not, after all it has worked for the past decade, there are always going to be those who complain and leave, you have no reason to do anything but laugh at them and then forget about them.

The thing is, compared to many other communities, the Discovery community is honestly not even that bad. Sure things get heated and people don't agree with other people but for the most part people get along when(at least when subjects they don't agree on are brought up). From what I have seen most hatreds start up when one side starts to perceive that the other side is out to get them or hate them which eventually ends up coming true since they start to act nasty. Yes this isn't always the case but seems to be more often the case from what I have seen. I also know people will disagree with this but just throwing my two cents.

As for people leaving for gameplay direction reasons, it almost seems pointless to pay attention too as people will often leave for complete opposite reasons(ex. one person leaving because the game is too pew oriented while another because they think people are trying to hard to impose RP on them) meaning there is no way to please everyone. That is not to say the devs and discovery can't use some improving in some areas just that these leaving threads are pointless which is why people act this way with them.
